Jeff's diving career began with a love of water, he and his wife, Annette, always loved Caribbean vacations and were intrigued by the scuba divers heading out from the resorts while they continued to snorkel on the shallow reefs. They often thought of taking the resort course but didn't want to "waste" half of a day of sitting on the beach sitting in a classroom and pool. Eventually, on a longer vacation they decided they could "afford" the time and took the resort course (aka Discover Scuba Diving). Jeff and Annette immediately fell in love with scuba diving and spent the rest of that vacation doing shallow reef dives. Upon their return to PA they wasted no time in signing up for an open water scuba class and ever since have been diving every chance they get. Now they hate to "waste" time during vacation sitting on the beach and prefer to spend as much time as possible underwater.

Jeff enjoys training new divers as much as teaching advanced and specialty classes. You'll find him at teaching at Bainbridge many weekends and you're sure to see him there on Wednesday nights for a fun dive and pizza over the Summer.

Annette and husband Jeff have progressed through all their diving training together. From that first OW class through Dive Master, the Instructor Development Class and Examination, and on into Tech training, they have done things in true “buddy” fashion. Annette can often be found diving with her favorite buddy at Bainbridge, especially Wednesday nights (she’s really just in it for the pizza afterwards), and weekend trips to Dutch Springs. She’s just one of the guys donning a dry suit, hoisting a set of doubles on her back and going deep.

Annette always wanted to be a marine biologist (and secretly still does), so her favorite class to teach is Reef Fish ID, and her favorite diving is in shallow warm water with her digital underwater camera.

Chuck always wanted to dive since he was a kid. He loved to swim and boat and kept putting off taking scuba classes. Finally he said he just had to do it. So he enrolled in a class and began his journey into the blue. He took his open water class Over a summer and
By the end of the next summer had completed Advanced, Rescue, First Aid and began his Divemaster class. He went to Florida the next summer and completed his Instructor and has been moving forward ever since. He loves to see his student’s faces under water for the first time breathing on a regulator. His favorite Buddy is his wife, Valerie. Chuck loves to train new divers and further their knowledge with advanced training.

Valerie Mouery - Principal & Divemaster

PADI Divemaster
Dry Suit Specialty
Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty
AHA CPR Instructor
PSI Visual Cylinder Inspector

With something called Meniere’s disease Val never even considered diving as an option until she met her husband Chuck, an avid diver and instructor. Chuck slowly and with great patience took Val through her DSD class, OW, and AOW classes, and the rest is history. Today Val is a Divemaster; her single most defining moment was when she could navigate Bainbridge Quarry with a group of students and not get lost! Val really enjoys assisting the instructors in working with new divers, her favorite class though, is the AOW, but watch out Val always plays Tic Tac Toe to win!

Tim’s diving goal is to become an instructor and be able to share his passion for diving with others.

Scuba Bob Hanna - Assistant Instructor

PADI Assistant Instructor
PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty

ScubaBob a/k/a Robert G. Hanna, Jr supports his diving addiction by practicing law with the Lavery, Faherty, Young & Patterson law firm. He holds OW, Advanced, Rescue, Dive Master, Assistant Instructor, Intro Cavern, Intro Cave, and Nitrox certifications. He regularly dives at Dutch Springs and Willow Springs. While he has 5 trips to the Caribbean to talk about, his 12 years in a row of N Car diving with the Olympus Dive Center, 2 trips to Truk, and various dives off the East Coast from FL to RI speak to a diversity of interest. But what he likes most of all is mentoring newly certified and divers with limited experience.

Brych Hoch - Divemaster

PADI Divemaster
Dry Suit Specialty
Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty
IANTD Deep Diver
IANTD Advanced Nitrox

Bryce began diving in an attempt to quell his curiosity in an unfamiliar sport which seemed exciting and challenging. It didn't work. In fact, that curiosity manifested into an obsession and eventually led to full blown addiction. North Carolina wreck dives top the list of Bryce's favorite dive locations. The excellent visibility, warm waters, 100's of shipwrecks near shore, tropical fish and sharks, sharks, sharks all provide the perfect ingredients for exploration, photography, artifact hunting, spear fishing, "BUG" hunting, training, or whatever else your in the mood for. The Caribbean has always been another favorite as he has dove in Curacao, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, and Turks & Caicos.

Working as a PADI Divemaster allows Bryce to spread his enthusiasm to new and returning divers, which, in his opinion, can be as rewarding as the day he received his Open Water Certification. Bryce currently holds a certification as PADI Divemaster, IANTD Advanced Nitrox, and IANTD Deep Diver. It is his dream to someday run his own dive operation in the Southeastern Caribbean.

Frank Lynch - Divemaster

PADI Divemaster
PADI Master Scuba Diver
Dry Suit Specialty
Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty
Reef Fish ID Specialty
Equipment Specialty
Night Diver Specialty

Originally certified at age 13, Frank suffered through a 26 year surface interval before returning to diving at age 39. Since then, Frank dives at every opportunity, earning him the nickname “Aquaman.” Frank enjoys diving because it offers an endless variety of experiences and because of the camaraderie of fellow divers. Not usually a fan of travel, diving has lead Frank to adventures in the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Bonaire, Honduras and Curacao. Frank also enjoys quarry diving and tries to dive locally every month of the year. As a divemaster, Frank enjoys introducing his favorite pastime to new divers.

Christopher Rosing - Divemaster

PADI Divemaster
Dry Suit Specialty
Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty
Equipment Specialty

Christopher got interested in scuba diving while attending the University of Connecticut. He joined the UCONN scuba club and was certified in 1985. He did his OW and AOW dives at Fort Wetherill on Jamestown Island in Rhode Island. He was active diving with his roommate who had a small business finding boat moorings and cleaning boat hulls. Most of his diving was done in Rhode Island and Connecticut with a few spring break trips to Key Largo.

In 1989 Christopher met and married a woman from Harrisburg. Not knowing anything about quarry diving Christopher sold all his gear including his Nikonos V camera with strobes. Fast forward to 1999 when he and his wife were talking to a travel agent about trips and Cozumel was decided upon. Bitten hard by the diving bug again, Christopher quickly outfitted himself with new gear and has been a quarry diver ever since. In addition to truly enjoying the quarries, Christopher's other passion is live aboard dive boats. He has been on a Blackbeards Cruise, Nekton Pilot (Cay Sal Banks) and most recently to the Exumas aboard the Aqua Cat. He dreams of doing a liveaboard in Micronesia possibly Palau. PADI certifications include: Divemaster, Rescue Diver, Advanced Open Water, Open Water, Dry suit, Nitrox, Equipment Specialist and Fish ID. Christopher truly enjoys mentoring divers new to the sport he is so passionate about.
