PADI Discover Scuba Diving

There is no greater adventure than scuba diving! Interacting with the underwater world is always fascinating and exciting. Many people are curious about diving and Discover Scuba Diving is a great opportunity to see if it is for you.

This program was designed to give you a safe and enjoyable introduction to diving. You’ll spend a few minutes completing paperwork and learning some important safety rules, then you’ll be in the pool scuba diving and having fun. The whole session will take about 1 hour. This is not a certification class but rather an introduction to scuba.

Requirements:
1. For ages 10 – 100.
2. Must complete and sign a Medical Statement and Diver’s Medical Questionnaire.Any “Yes” answers will require physician approval prior to any in-wateractivities. Download Brochure Here.
3. All participants must complete and sign the Discover Scuba Diving Statementprior to entering the water.
4. Participants under 18 years must have parent or legal guardian signature on required forms. Parent's must sign in person at the time of the class.
5. Participants under 15 must have a parent present during the activity. Parentsare encouraged to participate in the pool, however it is not required.

When Can I Do It ?

During the outdoor pool months (May - September), you can do a Discover Scuba session on most evenings or Saturday in our pool. Just call the shop a few days in advance to schedule an instructor.

During the winter months we will take you to an indoor pool for the session. Call for availability.

How Much Does It Cost?

The Discover Scuba Diving pool session is $25 at our shop. The fee includes an instructor and all the rental equipment needed. You only need to bring your swimsuit, towel and the willingness to have fun. Upon completion of the session, you'll receive a coupon worth $25 from PADI if you decide to complete a PADI Open Water certification class within 90 days.

Sessions conducted at other pools may incur additional fees.
